Spirit Wear Orders: Orders due by 8/24. We require a new link to the store to place orders. I will send this out tomorrow once we have it. Upon placement of the orders, apparel should arrive within 2 weeks. We will open up the store for a second round of orders later in the season.

Red Card for Cancer T-Shirt Orders:

“Each player must sell 3 shirts.  Please order through the link below by 8/24/25.

We know it is a short ordering period.  Thank you for supporting this longstanding Lancaster soccer tradition for a good cause.

All proceeds support cancer research at Kimmel Research Center @ Johns Hopkins University.

Reminder: You don’t order a shirt for your player. Each person on the team gets one for free for selling 3 shirts. Select pick up at store when you order. I will pick up the entire order and distribute to you.

Players will wear their shirts for warm ups during Red Card for Cancer week (9/27 – 10/4).

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

Chicken BBQ: Thank you to the McCoy Family for volunteering to lead this fundraiser this year. More information to come on this soon.

Big E Rep: We are still looking for a Big E Rep this fall. It sounds like there has been some general interest, so please let myself and Maureen Rife know if you would like to take on that role.

Again, thank you all for the immense support you give to this program. The players would not have such a great experience without all your help!

8/16: Team Picnic & Practice Update

Good Evening Everyone,

Apologies for the late post, but I wanted to pass along a few updates ahead of tomorrow.

  1. Practice is cancelled for tomorrow morning. Rest up and take care of your bodies after a tough first week.
  2. We are going to meet at the Dolan’s house at 4pm tomorrow instead of the Junior lot, that way players can drop their stuff off and leave it there before we head out on our team run. We will be back by 5pm, at which time everyone is encouraged to show up and hang out as the food is prepared. Reminder that players are able to bring a bathing suit and towel if they wish to swim in the pool. Food responsibilities and the address are listed again below. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
  • Everyone: Drinks (bring your own)
  • Seniors – Entree (hamburgers/hot dogs)
  • Juniors – Desserts
  • Sophomores/Freshmen – Side dishes

Address: 701 College Ave, Elizabethtown, PA

Team Picnic Update

Good Evening Everyone,

Reminder that we will have our team picnic this Saturday, Aug. 16th from 5-8pm. The Dolan Family has been kind enough to host us all this year. Their address is 701 College Ave. Elizabethtown, PA. However, it is expected for the players to meet in the Junior Parking Lot (next to the tennis courts) at 4pm. We will be going on a team run around town and meet everyone at the Dolan’s at 5pm.

It is encouraged that all families help to provide food and drink for the picnic. Please see the list below of items for each class to bring.

 • Seniors – Entree (hamburgers/hot dogs)

 • Juniors – Desserts

 • Sophomores/Freshmen – Side dishes

Everyone should bring their own drinks. It is also recommended that you bring a blanket or chair to sit on. If you would like to swim (pool available), bring a swimsuit and towel.

If you have any questions please reach out to Shannon Alvarez (VictorAndShannon@gmail.com).

Also, friendly reminder to sign up for Fair Parking time slots (Sign up). We are still looking for a few more volunteers. Thanks for everyone’s help!

Practice Update 6/14

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Quick practice update. Tomorrow evening’s session will now be from 6-8pm as opposed to 7-9pm. We will still be at Thompson Stadium. Tonight’s practice remains unchanged. See everyone at 7pm on Jane Hoover.

Fundraising Update

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to thank everyone again who made our first annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser a success yesterday. To the golfers who participated, parents, players, and coaches who volunteered, the Highlands of Donegal Golf Course for hosting us, and especially to all of our sponsors (listed below): we couldn’t have done it without you! We can’t wait to make this an annual event and hope to see everyone again next year!

I also wanted to pass along the SignUp Genius links below from our senior parents. As we approach the start of the season, we require volunteers to help with Fair Parking, provide donations for our concession stand, and run our concession stand for all our home games. Please sign up using the link below if you are able to help. Thank you all for your time and support. If you have any questions, please reach out to Michelle Henry (jahmlh@comcast.net) and Kristi Ritter (kristi_ritter11@comcast.net).

High School Tryouts 2025

Good Evening Everyone,

Hard to believe we are only a week away from Preseason. I hope everyone is excited! As a reminder, we will begin our first session at 8:30am on Jane Hoover on Monday the 11th. The full season schedule (including preseason) can be found on Arbiter (https://www.arbiterlive.com/Teams/Schedule/4634546). Please reference this for all practice and game information this season. Bring both your cleats and sneakers as we will be conducting the fitness test first thing Monday morning. The test is the same as last year (Bronco Test) with an expected time of 5 minutes or better. Tryouts will conclude after the morning session on Wednesday the 13th. At this time, players will be provided a letter stating whether or not they made the team. Any incoming 9th graders that do not make the team are encouraged to tryout for the Junior High Team beginning on Aug. 18th. For those that make the team, uniform pickup will be Thursday at 10:15am immediately following our morning practice. Parents can plan to pick up their children outside of Daubert Gymnasium at 10:30am that day. Our Team Picnic will take place Saturday evening of the 16th. More details to come, but please block your calendars off from 4-8pm. Team photos will be first thing Monday morning the 18th to begin our training session.

As always, please arrive early with your equipment on and ready to go so that we may begin promptly at the stated practice time. Please be sure to wear team colors, so that we may rep our school with pride. This includes blue, white, gray, or black shirts/shorts and white or blue socks. Also, be sure to bring plenty of fluids with you. Can’t wait to get the season started next Monday!

Golf Tournament Fundraiser!

Don’t forget to register for our Inaugural Golf Tournament to support Etown Boys Soccer on Aug. 9th at the Highlands of Donegal. Check out our social media for more details (@etownboyssoccer)! Quad Camp Update

Please bring your payment, along with the attached waiver, on Monday. Checks are preferred and can be made out to “Etown Boys Soccer”. Please do your best to arrive early (5:15-5:30), so that we can collect payment and waivers before our first session. Address: 300 Church St. Landisville, PA. 17538

Millersville Team Camp Update

Good Evening Everyone,

I am reposting this as a reminder to sign up for Millersville Team Camp asap! The latest we can accept payment is June 4th, so we can mail a check in to the camp director by the end of the week. The final cost will be $385 per player. Money and Player Registration form (page two on flyer below) must be sent to Molly Myers by next week. If you have expressed interest in going, but have not filled out the sign-up form below, please fill that out asap so we can keep track of all who are going. If cost is a concern or you have any questions, please email me (braydon_shuck@etownschools.org). This is a vital camp for our team success this year. Don’t miss out on this exceptional training opportunity!

Millersville Team Camp

As mentioned previously, our high school team camp will not be held at Bucknell this year. Instead, we will be attending camp at Millersville University. This will be a great replacement for Bucknell and run in the same fashion. Players will stay in dorms on campus for 4 days and 3 nights and receive high level coaching from a college coach who will work with our team all 4 days! There will also be team bonding activities, a college player symposium, and 4 scrimmages played against high level high schools across Eastern Pennsylvania. Reminder that the dates of the camp are July 27th-30th. Additional information can be found on the attached flyer.

I am pleased to announce will be contributing $100 a player from our Big E Booster Account again this year to help support those planning to attend camp. That will make the total cost per player $375 or $385 depending on how many players we send. With that said, if you plan on attending, I need to fill out the sign-up form below by May 26th so we know what our total numbers will be. Our goal is to send at least 22 players this year. Money will be collected by Molly Myers (Big E Booster Rep) by June 1st. Additionally, the second page of the attached flyer (bottom of page) will need to be completed and sent to Molly Myers along with payment to successfully register for the camp.

Remember this is for rising 9th-12th graders. No matter what grade you are entering, this will be a fantastic way to bond with your teammates, sharpen your skills, and begin to learn our style of play before preseason begins on Aug. 11th. Team camp in July has always helped prepare us immensely for the upcoming season, so I highly encourage all to participate. Any questions, feel free to reach out to Coach Shuck (braydon_shuck@etownschools.org) and Coach Wells (jereme_wells@etownschools.org).

Quad Camp

Good Evening!

Sorry for all the updates this week, but I’ve got one more for you. Quad Camp is just over a month away and we are very close to having all the details finalized. We have a great lineup of college coaches so far from Etown, LVC, York, Alvernia, Desales, Grove City, LBC, and a few more to be added soon! The camp will run Monday – Thursday June 16th-19th at the Hempfield Quads from 6-8:30pm. Each night both our middle school and high school teams will have the opportunity to work with a different college coach and scrimmage one of the other high/middle school teams attending (Hempfield, Manheim Central, Penn Manor).

Address: 300 Church St. Landisville, PA 17538

For those interested in playing college soccer, this is a great way to meet college coaches and put your skills on full display. For everyone, it is a great way to experience high level training from many different coaches with many different styles and start the summer off on the right foot as we look to build towards a successful fall season. Not to mention, have the ability to scrimmage against schools we will be playing against this fall!

Cost will be determined based upon how many players attend the camp. The more people we get, the less it will be for everyone. Assuming we have similar numbers to last year, it should be around the $45-55 range. Money will be collected upon arrival the first night of camp. In order to determine our numbers and final cost per player, I need everyone to sign up by filling out the form below as soon as possible (June 9th at the latest).

Remember this is for rising 7th-12th graders. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
