The club is officially launched (by the parents, this is not a school program). Please check out the updated launch PDF that includes the background, rules, chants, and game schedules. Let’s PACK THE STANDS and make all of the varsity games thrilling!
Good Afternoon Soccer Fans,
If you have not heard, there is a new Fan Club for the high school varsity soccer team!
It is called HyperNation (a play on hibernation) and the goal is to pack the stands and create excitement around school soccer. Hopefully this will also lead to younger kids aspiring to play in front of the crowds when they get to the high school level. There will be cheers, face painting, celebrations, and more. Please help spread the word so that all of the home games are even more fun than normal!
Good Morning All,
Here are the updates you need to know regarding JH Soccer. If you have further questions, please reach out via my contact info below. Thank you!
- Please spread the word that we are still looking for athletes and leaders for the program. It is never too late to start playing soccer! Seriously!
- There is NO Open Turf next week (week of 8/15). High School has their tryouts starting on 8/15, so JH will have the week off to rest as JH tryouts start on 8/22.
- Tryout info: 8/22-8/24 5:30pm-7:30pm each evening. Player team status will be announced via sealed envelope at the end of practice on 8/24. Players will be evaluated on overall fitness/athleticism, effort given, soccer skills, soccer IQ, leadership qualities, teamwork, hustle, and overall attitude.
- Standard Practices: Starting on 8/22, Mon-Fri from 5:30pm-7:30pm

In an effort to keep the boys playing some level of soccer during the school offseason, we are trying to organize two JH teams through Etown United. We will work with you to schedule around other sports and commitments. Please read the attached and let me know if you are IN or OUT. Spread the word, as we are looking for a total of 34 players if possible.
A big shoutout to the JH boys that showed up to help mulch one of the non-profit nursery schools in town! Not only did they show great character in helping others in need, but they had fun team building while doing so. Nicely done boys!
